Surge Breaks Stuff in the Bike OvenThe Bike Oven is open on Wednesday nights at 130 W. Avenue 42 in Highland Park. It's a garage full of donated tools, booze, and (surprisingly) helpful bike repair people who can help you work on your ride. It's open at around 8 p.m. until everyone gets tired or bored and goes home. There's a women-only day on Saturdays - the Bike Oven XX, and the place has its doors open during the week upon request. Email ubrayj02@yahoo.com for more info.

New Bike Oven Tool Rack and Lighting! Thanks to Harv, the Bike Oven is looking more and more like a place a regular person would want to come and fix their ride. Gone are the days of putting all the tools in a big pile! Now, we gots a tool rack and more tools too (bottom bracket removal stuff, a chain whip, and all kinds of other stuff). Thanks go to Harv for getting this together and donating all the materials plus his labor!
